Haha yeah, I was the subject of the last meeting because I’m like a chronic loner and everyone was like “you can be paranoid all you want, just don’t assume the worst of us”

I mean I was isolating myself from my friends in-system because I thought they were too cool for me so I guess I had it coming lol
I could be misremembering, but there was a whole write up someone did on the subject
Here it is- I had part 3 and 4 in mind iirc

I have a soft spot for the term comate, meaning "with/joint/together friend". It's a simple word, you can choose to drop -mancy or not (cocreation, comancy), and there's something absolutely beautiful about a cocreator as the host- a host isn't soley responsible for a tulpa's creation

headmate seems like the most neutral term, but what to call the practice? Plurality is too broad an umbrella term

It's okay to have an opinion on this. Plus, I personally find your opinion really valuable as it will give us a better sense of what beginners think in general
No, I mean specifically for the topic of alternatives to the word tulpa

Your opinion doesn't deflate over time. Your opinions matter in general, I just wanted to encourage you to hop in and I'm genuinely interested in what you think
Me personally, I don't mind being a fictive of a genshin character. I have memories of myself in the game, and sometimes those memories bother me, or make me miss my "home", but generally, I cope.
For what it's worth, neither of us feel much attachment towards our respective series' apart from liking them. We don't feel like we're really from any of our "sources."

Reply to: how do tulpas based off pre-existing fictional characters feel about their origin?
I feel pretty disconnected from my source. I'm an oc of Kei's. I used to feel quite connected to it, and remembered exomemories very strongly. But now, i've grown as an individual, and i feel more connected to this life.
Owen is another fictive in our system, and he's struggled to move past his fictional memories, because he misses his old life and wishes he had it back. Some experiences are more negative than others after all. Owen's life in the game was a mostly successful one, and with magic and fame and all that, he finds this life to be sad, and boring.
